It was in good location near the harbor and shops. Very clean.

The restaurant food and service wasnt great. Whole place bland. Also climate control in room didn't work well. Was very hot. Bed not comfortable.

All members of staff were extremely courteous and proactively helpful. Gold stars for all of them. The room was very clean, and also had a little balcony which was great for fresh air. We found the location to be close enough to the central James Bay area to be convenient for walking, and the proximity to Fisherman's Wharf and seaside walk was also a nice bonus.

The room wasn't very well laid out for relaxing. It was furnished with two armchairs, which were in opposite areas of the room, and neither in proximity to the TV. We resorted to moving the entertainment center and TV so it faced the bed a little more directly, but the bed and pillows weren't sufficient for comfortable lounging either, regrettably. While we did spend a lot of time exploring the city, it would have been nice to have a more comfortable "charging station" to relax in, and unfortunately it didn't quite deliver on that. I would have also preferred to have a better assortment of cookware and utensils in the kitchenette, but we made it work with what was provided. (The small pots and pans weren't really adequately sized even for preparing meals for two, and I really missed having a silicon scraper/spatula available.) Word to the wise as well - check the refrigerator temperature to ensure it won't freeze your produce.

The location is within walking distance of the harbour, fisherman’s wharf, almost everything. I like that there is a small restaurant, bar and often live music.

There isn’t anything to dislike.
