The Inn on the Horse Farm

It was so great to just look out the window and see horses. The property has a stream and pond that add to the tranquility and beauty.

Where to start…arrived to an empty inn, no problem there, except room was dirty. Coffee pot still had old coffee in it, someone’s hot chocolate cup was under chair and had mold growing in it, hot water ran out before my husband got his shower, batteries didn’t work in the TV remote, breakfast was a joke…instant oatmeal packets in the room and a 5 pk of store bought donuts. Coffee pot was provided in room but no cream or sugar. Never again!

Beautiful property, comfortable stay!

Stayed one night. This is really just a B since there’s no breakfast other than Hostess donuts and a fruit pie left in the room.

No visible staff at all, but responsive to phone calls. The place was interesting, but the featured whirlpool bath did not work. Large but very cold bathroom. "Breakfast" was a few Hostess products, with no milk for coffee - very poor. No horses !

This is our second Thanksgiving staying here. We love the homey decor, comfortable rooms and quiet of the inn. Thank you!

Great Atmosphere!!

I absolutely loved this Inn. It was so cozy and inviting. The amenities were excellent and the bed was so comfy. I will stay here again if I’m in the area.

The property is set back from the road and has an historic feel to it. Our room had a balcony which was great on a sunny day. The room was heated by a gas fireplace which was a nice touch. We were able to walk to a restaurant and bike to the Bruce Freeman bike trail which was great. The Inn felt like it needed some TLC and updating.

Beautiful old house very comfortable & tastefully decorated
