Hawaii Island Resort

I love the nature at the resort. Stars gazing was amazing at night, they have different trees and we can pick the fruits and nuts for free. 3 big dogs welcomed us in the morning

The fan in the room was so loud... Some window didn't have the window screens. I was worried about bugs

The peaceful nature of Hawaii Island Resort was very welcome after a couple of early starts with flights. We could relax and recharge. Our bed was so comfortable and our host Kellie was very welcoming and informative about the property.

Located on a Macadamia nut property, this place offers a quiet and relaxed room with more amenities than you could ask for: a small cinema, game room (pool table, etc.), Macadamia trees to find some nuts. Great value and very friendly hosts on site.

It‘s far away from anywhere on the island.

Beautiful ground with lots of macadamia nut trees and other fruit trees that we could pick from. Beautiful sitting areas in another building. Lovely host. Very quiet.

Wish there were hangers and a couple of chairs in the room.

Location, 20 min drive to South Point and black sand beach

You are not allowed to use the kitchen, even to get water from the sink to boil for noodles or ramen. There is a counter on the lanai with coffee machine where you can make a cup of hot water, but it is inconvenient and what if 2 or more other people want to use it? Simple electric kettle would be great. They provide coffee, tea bags, sugar/sweetener. No coffee machine in the room. In the bathroom the shower and toilet are elevated and there are 2 steps. Didn’t bother us, but for elderly people could be problematic.

The place was gorgeous and peaceful and the hosts were wonderful. I’d absolutely stay again.
