The staff were very accommodating, there was no street noise, the selection at the bar was very good, and we really liked the furnishings and design.

The night was difficult: Outside, there was a strong smell of hydrogen sulfide, and there was a constant low-frequency noise that greatly disturbed sleep.

This hotel was a perfect stop for our travels along the Ring Road. It was close to some other sites (Skutusdagigar Covernous Pseudocraters and Dimmuborgir Lava Fields) so after checking in, we had time to go out and explore even longer since it was daylight for so long. Two restaurant options were also convenient for dinner. The hotel itself had a quirky theme, hot tub on site, large game/social room, and a wonderful breakfast. The rooms were comfortable and tidy and met our needs for an overnight stay.

The bathroom door is a barn style glass slider that did not provide 100% privacy (could see through the edges). We would have preferred a regular door seeing we were traveling with our 23 year old daughter who wanted privacy.

Spacious room and the staff was friendly and efficient

We had a small issue with the toilet, but the staff soon found the solution.
