Inn at Haystack Rock

The internet kept going out on us when we were trying to watch a show/movie, which was extremely frustrating. We were put in a room right by the road which I didn’t understand because there were not that many people staying there the same time as us. This was a special trip with my daughter before she has her first baby, so a bit disappointed from website to what I got. When we first got there the room smelt like chlorine, which I love cleanliness but this was strong, when we had no bar soap in the bathroom I asked the front desk for some and she said the housekeeper said it was in the shower, like I wasn’t telling the truth. I will choose a different place to stay next time, disappointed, this place looked so cute and homey online.

Close to haystack rock but not as close as I would’ve liked. It was hard to tell where we would be - I wanted to be on the beach. No ac and it was over 70. Thankfully a room ac was in the bedroom upstairs or it would’ve been too uncomfortable for me there.

The kids next door (?) were running around all day and night like the energizer bunny keeping us from sleeping.

Great location. Walkable to beach, shops and restaurants. The staff was very friendly and the room was very clean and had everything I needed.

The fridge door swings in the wrong direction and had to move the table & chairs to get into it. No hooks in the bathroom for hanging a robe or anything. No vanity to set things on when washing up or brushing your teeth.

Perfect location. Clean. Sufficient space = we slept 3 in a cottage for 6. Adequately equipped kitchen for preparing snacks. Took a little while to warm up.
