Hyatt House Boston Waltham

Stayed here multiple times - convenient, comfortable.

Breakfast was worse this time. There were no hard boiled eggs nor bananas which are things that are always fine/can’t be bad.

Stayed here for a few nights for work and it was a decent experience. Hyatt House is an apartment hotel featuring a full kitchen, separate living/sleeping area, along with amenities including a gym, pool, bar, restaurant, and coin laundry. Property is located in a quiet industrial park with plenty of parking on-site. There are several hotels in the vicinity too. Check-in was a touch odd as their system was "down" and I got my key merely by showing my ID. Wanted to grab a bite at the restaurant, only to be told that both the bar and restaurant were "closed" that evening only... There are limited dining options within walking distance. Downtown Waltham is a quick 10 minute Uber ride away. The 1 bedroom apartment was spacious featuring a full kitchen, including a range, microwave, and dishwasher. The living area featured a sofa bed along with a separate TV. The bedroom featured a comfy bed, separate TV. The bedroom closet had an iron, but no ironing board. Plenty of towels, soaps, dishwashing detergent, dishwasher tablets were provided. It was a bummer that the body wash was empty when I attempted to use it. Breakfast was decent for being complimentary. There was usually some sort of powdered eggs, an omlette station, or hard boiled eggs along with some sausages, pancakes, pastry, and fruit selection. The property has a market selling beverages and snacks along with a business center right by the front desk.

Breakfast was great. Room very clean. Staff is nice.

Bed was too soft for me.

We are still arguing about being charged and additional $162 when we prepaid. Now after numerous calls to hotel to straighten it out we have filed with our credit card. Staff people were almost impossible to reach and unresponsive to our request to fix the bill.

We booked 2 rooms for 4 nights (May 26 to 30) to attend a graduation in Boston. Clean bedrooms and bathrooms. Great kitchen, fully stocked with silverware, plates, microwave, fridge, toaster, etc. Loved having a small living room with couch to relax at the end of each day. Bonus points for the complimentary breakfast, which included made-to-order omelettes. The sole critique: they ran out of Greek yogurt for a few days - mentioning it so they can avoid it in the future :)
