Hyatt House Boston Waltham

The rooms are reasonably clean and the beds are okay. But the shower handle fell off and went flying this morning. The stove feet have not been leveled and it wobbles terribly. But you won't be using it, because there is zero bakeware - not even a cookie sheet for a pizza - and all of the cookware is scratched up non-stick. You can't have leftovers, because there's not a single piece of Tupperware or anything to be used for food storage. I rewashed all of the dishes the first night, because they were either dusty or grimy. There's no recycling. There's no live TV guide, only a channel list that is accurate for one TV but somehow not the other (how???). Though the signs claim that the HVAC is on motion sensors (which is bad for the middle of the night), there is some sort of ventilation fan over the door that operates at the noise level of a leaf blower. There are three clocks in the room that are all on different times, and none of them are correct. I even paid extra for that useless kitchen. Though this is a Hyatt House, it has several rooms that are not suites and have no kitchens, so beware when you book. The front desk told me elite members don't qualify for upgrades (weird; other Hyatt Houses do it just for the sake of good service, I guess), but they would offer me a room for a "deeply discounted" $10 more a night. It turns out the difference on the app is $9 a night. I got scammed. This property wants your money and couldn't care less about your guest experience. I have another month in Boston, and I am moving up to the Hyatt House in Burlington.

Plenty of space and clean. Bed was comfy and room was just what we needed. Shower was nice and roomy and water pressure was good. Kitchette was fully stocked with supplies if we needed them. Nice stay overall. I will definitely be back again.
