Upon arrival, we were greeted with a smile and genuine conversation. And the rooms are very nice and roomy as well as cozy somehow. The bathrooms were updated and so spacious and the beds are super comfy as well. Excellent price for this view on the water!

"Not a "horrible" stay for the off season"

This hotels employees are all very kind and accommodating which was very pleasant. The pool was an issue after 4 days of swimming my children came home and are still battling visible chemical burns on their faces and bodies. After exiting the pool each time you could feel your skin burning and itching even after showering after each time we used it. Beautiful pool and kitchen area but definitely needs attention to maintenance. The breakfast was a nice gesture but was fake eggs and meat which made it difficult after three mornings as far as substance goes. The rooms were beautiful but upon entering the nicely tiled glass shower it was clear they've never been properly cleaned. There was large black mold in the track and corners of the shower as well as the ceiling fan being filthy and directly above you while showering which was very uncomfortable as far attempting to get clean in such a dirty area. I did not want to touch the shower walls it was so uncomfortable. The rooms and view were beautiful and decently cleaned enough and overall with the good customer service it was not a terrible stay for a winter visit but I can not imagine paying over 400.00 a night during the peak season for the same amenities.

Very nice hotel. Our room walked right out to the beach. We stayed in the Leelanau Suite. We had a livingroom area with a fireplace. Also had a whirlpool tub.

I would have liked a better type of shampoo and conditioner for the amount the room cost.
