Hyatt House Dallas Las Colinas

I was placed in a room along the rear of the property. No lights to the path of the room. Sprinklers pelted the windows hard at 2 am and woke me up. Desk chair was broken and tub barely drained. Had to stand in shower water up past my ankles for a quick shower. Sucks for business trips if you like to sleep. Location is great. Fix the place up!

The breakfast was good and the location was very convenient to our event site

We had no towels in our room, I called to request towels before leaving for our event but still no towels 6 hours later and no towels delivered until about 6 o'clock the next day after I called again. No hand soap at the sink. Upon check in after going to our initial room my wife was uncomfortable with the area so I went back to the desk to request a different room that wasn't so hidden and on the first floor, the new location was fine but unfortunately it was still on the third floor and there was no elevator. I mentioned all this at check out and unfortunately because we booked through a third party we couldn't get a partial refund.

While the price was good, I felt this property was in need of a renovation. Room was clean, a good breakfast, but in need of new furniture and carpets, definitely showing signs of wear. Television channels were basic at best and not all channels worked in both rooms.

It’s a good location and it does look nice on the outside

First off, roaches outside the hotel room and stairs. Seen one roach in one bathroom and 2 roaches in another. There a gap from the front door (guessing that’s where the roaches entered) no face towels. Tried asking the front desk for towels but all I got was hand towels and attitude. Sheets were filthy, but luckily, the family and I always bring our own for stays like this. All I gotta say is, this hotel is very lucky we were in need of a hotel room for the stay. I really hope this place actually reads the comments, because I’m tired of the “we’re sorry for the inconvenience” speech, and not doing anything about the complaint made about the hotel.

When we arrived, there was no one in the lobby or behind the desk. Empty for 10 minutes or more with a sign that says helping other guests be back soon. Room was musty smelling a little bit. Lights in the kitchen did not work. Air conditioning was extremely difficult to control. And in the shower, the shower floor was Icewear as slippery as ice once it got wet or had soap on it. And just so people are aware, there is no elevator and I think there are three floors. We were on the first floor because I requested it when I found out there was no elevator.

There were roaches mildew and mold. Yuck 🤮 I’ve come here for over 15 yrs and I’ve never seen this hotel suite to look and be this disgusting!!
