Budget Inn

You get what you pay for. The room was smelly. There were live in tenants. The walls were dirty. The hotel room next to us had a window busted out and there was a pepsi box covering up the broken window. There was a large amount of dirt and trash behind the tv stand. We frequent Williamsburg, but I will avoid this place from now on.

We didn't expect much for an overnight stay in a cheap motel, but we got more than expected. The desk clerk waited up for us, as we arrived late, and was really pleasant and accommodating. Our room was very clean and the beds were really comfortable. There's a fridge, microwave and coffee pot too, which we weren't expecting. Nice little diner next door is a bonus. We would stay here again.

My wife is very sensitive to cigarette smoke that lingers in a room. The staff insisted it was a smoke free room even though it didn't have the no smoking sign on the door. These signs were present on rooms with lower numbers but stopped one room before ours. The night manager agreed that the room smelled like cigarette smoke but couldn't offer another room. She said they had none. It was late and we had no energy left to find another place to stay. The night manager did give us a "Febreze" like spray to help eliminate the oder but it did not work. In the morning I went to get my daily carbonated caffeine fix from the drink machine. I pressed Diet Coke but got regular Sprite which I know I didn't accidentally press because the two buttons were not close to each other at all. I like to stay cheerful, especially on vacation but this is the kind of crap that makes the whole family grumpy. Thanks for letting me vent and share.

The motel seemed to accommodate extended stay persons, so for our visit my husband and I were put in a building on the far end of the property that backed into a bunch of trees. Room was very outdated. The small bathroom was in shambles - broken blind, dirty and cracked tile and grout/caulk, rusted fixtures. The bed was comfortable enough. There is a shared patio on the back of the building that was full of spider webs and people had left cups and cigarettes everywhere. And even though the room was cleaned (I hope), it had a dirty feeling to it.

While a little worn and dated, it's a nice place. There were some cosmetic issues with the room but it was very clean. We would stay there again.

About 8-10 minutes away from the Historic area by foot 3-4 by bike. Room was clean very conveniently located where everything is. Good value

Came on a vacation. Room rates changed after we arrived to a higher rate than was quoted. Pool was being worked on. Apparently they have monthly guests that were questionable. Tried calling front desk several times but never received an answer. Unable to receive a wake up call for the entire stay. Television so so. Advertised Free WiFi was able to get logged in. Mattresses were lumpy and only 2 pillows were given. The shower was leaking and in need of work. Only 1 roll of toilet paper was in the room and had to go out and purchase more on our own since we never could get through to the front desk. If you are looking for a fancy hotel this is definitely not the place to stay. If you are looking for a cheap room that needs a lot of work then stay here.

Stayed one night after shopping outlets on way to va beach. Staff was nice. Paid fifty five a night. If your looking for somewhere just to sleep its fine.
