Budget Inn

The hotel was dated but the staff was friendly enough. We didn't spend a lot of time in the hotel since we were out looking at the sites. It was clean and served its purpose.

Clean rooms, quiet neighbors, no road noise. The waffle house next door is great. Best value for the price in Williamsburg. I will definitely be back!

Ratings were amazingly positive for what I found to be a dive. Washed everything in hot water the second I got home.

This hotel is quiet, clean and a great value for the money. It is in the heart of the tourist district and within 5 minutes walking distance to 3 eateries. Two shopping centers are nearby.

We have stayed at the Budget Inn Motel before. It is clean, cheap, close to our destination. There are no frills and don't expect much interaction with hotel manager. The bathroom setup was tight - toilet really close to the wall and no bathroom fan. The price was good for the amount of time in the room.

They put us in their back building, which was isolated and next to the woods. The window was cracked and the room was freezing when we entered. Took a while to get the heat to actually make a difference. The back wall was not a wall but a sliding glass door facing the woods, with only a small metal hook standing in the way between us and a potential axe murderer. The only thing I will give them was that their bed was extremely comfortable. You get what you pay for, and for $38 I guess it was ok. Staff was nice.

Needed a cheap place to stay near colonial Williamsburg and this place was just fine.

When making the reservation I notified them of a late arrival (10-11pm)for an overnight stay which the hotel honored, When I arrived the room was quite cold, While I know energy efficiency is a major concern, it would have been nore "welcomin" if a hotel rep ~15 minutes prior to arrival to have kicked theheat up a notch. There were other hotels in the vicinity that were advertising a $29.95 rate, so though competitive it did not reflect a significant savings

Noisy, smelly, Daybreak breakfast subpar. Bring disinfectant, slippers, earplugs, respirator.
