Budget Inn

I was a little concerned when the hotel didn't initially have confirmation of our reservation, but it was found. While the room was of 'old style' with a key rather than a card, it was clean, comfortable and very accommodating. The shower curtain should have been replaced or cleaned better, and a curved out shower curtain bar would be perfect. The towels were so much better than the thin, small ones as budget chain motels.

It's an older building but clean. Quiet and a comfortable mattress. Good value.

This is our second stay here. For the location and prices it's a great deal for a quiet night's sleep on our way back from a day trip to Williamsburg. The hotel is older but seems clean and has been quiet both times we've stayed. Our bed this last time was almost unbearably soft but that's just personal preference. The place is clearly older but it's clean, basic, and is the most inexpensive we've found.

Amazingly excellent beds & furniture for a Budget Inn. Perfect Williamsburg theme paintings & wallpaper. Fairly big bathroom. Cute courtyard pool. Very quiet in Oct. No coffee in lobby or thanks from caretaker at checkout. Excellent location near visitor center.

Everything suitable for a over night stay.

The motel exterior and interior were classic 1960's which isn't bad considering the recent update. I like brick exteriors. Too much furniture in the room made it crowded and some of the updated workmanship could have been done better. The pool was a mess of green algae and needed structural repair, but there was ample parking. The room was a bit musty but I fixed that by turning on moderate heat. The bed was VERY comfortable and there is a discount on meals at the restaurant next door. The attendant had an attitude and needs training in customer service. The cleaning lady was nice.

Very nice family runs the Budget Inn. For the money it is a very good deal - it is dated but they keep it very clean and it is safe, and in a great location. I would recommend it, especially if you are just visiting Williamsburg and not spending the day in the hotel.

Wanted a nice cheap place to stay. This fit the bill. Bed was very comfortable. Would stay again.

Great value, great sleep, did not spend much time there other than to sleep. Staff friendly. Would stay again.

The room was reasonably inexpensive but I've stayed at nicer hotels for this much money with better amenities. The toilet paper was terrible, a single drop of water and it disintegrated and fell apart. They gave a single bar of soap for use at the sink and in the shower and just little packets of shampoo and conditioner. The comforter smelled odd (not clean) on arrival though the rest of the room seemed clean though the bathroom was in need of repair and the tub was rusty. It did have a fridge and microwave in the room which were handy. They didn't offer any kind of breakfast but you did get a discount at the restaurant next to it which made up for that to some extent. I go to Williamsburg a lot but I won't stay here again.
