Hyderabad Marriott Hotel & Convention Centre

I really wanted to like this hotel as there are some good points, but there were a couple of issues that affected the stay. The main problem is the smell. There seems to be what can only be described as an open sewer somewhere outside the hotel. The rooms themselves are actually lovely, but if you don’t have a pool-facing room the smell does come through and it’s quite unpleasant. That said, I was moved to a pool-facing room (more inward facing within the hotel), and this made a big difference. In that room there was no smell at all, and it was also much quieter. Another thing to be aware of is the noise early in the morning. At around 5am (sunrise), the mosque next door broadcasts the call to prayer quite loudly. Again, this wasn’t noticeable once I was in the pool-facing room. On a more positive note, the dining experience was excellent. Breakfast in particular was great, with a good selection. Overall, the hotel has potential and the rooms themselves are nice, but I would strongly recommend making sure you book or request a pool-facing room, as it really changes the experience.

The room got upgraded to Suite. The size of the room was big. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast spread included virety of items . The location of the HOTEL is superb and is surely a value for money. I will recommed it all travelers

Marriott Hyderabad was one of my worst hotel experiences. The property feels extremely old and nowhere close to 5‑star standards — I wouldn’t even rate it 2 stars. There is a persistent unpleasant odor throughout the hotel, and the bathrooms are outdated and poorly maintained. Outside the window, the ledges were covered in pigeon droppings, creating an unhygienic and disturbing view. The hotel feels suffocating, and the pictures on the website are completely misleading compared to the actual condition. Overall, a deeply disappointing stay and not worth the price.

Everything else except confusing hotline phone numbers and email. Poor response to phone calls before travel. I wasn't really sure if my booking confirmed by the hotel desk.
