Wicker Park Inn

Love this cute little spot. Great location!

Excellent location, comfortable space, friendly staff.

The train traffic might be an issue for some people but we didn't have a problem with the noise.

Comfy and welcoming - lovely building in a great location with so many good restaurants within walking distance - loved the big kitchen and having the breakfast bits you could help Yourself too was a really nice touch -- only one complaint I’d update pillows as they were very stiff and foamy …

We really enjoyed our stay at the Wicker Park Inn. Nestled in a quiet street with many trees and birds it’s very peaceful and relaxing. There is a tram that runs behind the building periodically but it’s not a harsh sound, kind of pleasant to be honest, like a wave or roll of thunder that comes and goes. The Inn itself is spotless, comfortable and well appointed with great attention to detail. It’s obvious the owners understand the needs of their guests. The location is perfect, just a block from Milwaukee Ave where all the shopping and dining are, and yet feels miles away from the hustle and bustle. Be sure to add on parking, as the street is residential, and hard to find a spot. The lot is just a very short walk from the Inn. We will definitely be coming back next time we visit Wicker Park!

What a lovely place! They couldn’t have been more friendly, the room is very comfortable, with two skylights. Bathroom, great, the communal kitchen, and sitting room was very nice, and there were yummy baked goods available every morning. The location was perfect for us, near our sons apartment, and a nice street of restaurants. A happy experience.

We were a little disappointed to find out that they no longer did a full service bed and breakfast but instead did a self-serve continental breakfast. That said, the baked goods were made in house and there was a decent selection of items. The large shared kitchen was nice and easy to use, it even had a shared fridge for guests. You really can't beat the location of the Wicker Park Inn! It was close to a train station for easy access to other ares of Chicago and was surrounded by fantastic food and interesting shops.

The room was nicely done up and had a great shower and comfy bed with lots of space. Unfortunately the building is poorly insulated/sound proofed so we could hear every creak of the stairs, every footstep overhead, the man next door snoring and the train going by through the fireplace. While they did provide earplugs we still were bothered by the noise.

Staff were very kind and communicative and the property was in a beautiful neighborhood. I would definitely come back!
