Travelodge by Wyndham Oakley

Large stains on both chairs in the room, property looked under construction, got locked out at breakfast at 7am after an hour of calling, ringing the night bell and yelling person behind the desk final woke up. But generally felt safe and was cheap.

Lots of good choices for breakfast. Open early for breakfast and stayed open until nine.

The air conditioners buttons were unreadable and hard to know how to turn it on

Ice machine is broken, room number is non existent. Had to look at the number next to it to figure out which one it was. Half the lamps in the room don't work. Exhaust fan in bathroom doesn't work and the tub floor is slippery, needs rubber grips. And the room has a funky smell. I've stayed in motel 6's that were nicer than this.

Under renovation. Door sticks both to the room and the lobby . Paint edges are sloppy.

The bathroom was a mess. No trash bags, toilet had dried poop on it!

The front desk attendant was not there and was not very nice.. The room was not ready. The hotel charged the room reservation three times . The hotel does not have any maintenance of outside area.

This was the most expensive hotel on our entire drive from Florida to Colorado—and without question, the worst. I’ve stayed at many Wyndham properties over the years and usually go out of my way to book with them, but after this experience, we switched to Choice Hotels for the rest of our trip. Wyndham should be ashamed to have their name attached to this property. The parking lot looked like a demolition site—scattered debris everywhere. The front office door wouldn’t even open unless we kicked it. Inside, the breakfast bar (right next to the check-in desk) had more flies than food options. The woman checking us in seemed annoyed we hadn’t reserved ahead and was clearly irritated that I asked to add my Wyndham Rewards number. After a grueling 16-hour day in a moving van, we finally got to our room—and if I hadn’t been with my boyfriend, I would’ve left immediately. I did not feel safe. The deadbolt didn’t work, and both flip-locks were broken off the door. There was painted duct tape covering the ceiling above the shower, and the lights had been torn out and replaced with a single LED strip hung up with command hooks. The bathroom door was painted so heavily it couldn’t even close, and the sink area outside the bathroom had a ceiling leak—there was water actively pooling on the floor. To top it off, the room next to us clearly had a sex worker operating out of it, with multiple half-naked men coming and going throughout the night. Since my boyfriend can’t drive and I was completely exhausted, we had no choice but to stay. I slept maybe four hours while he stayed up to watch the door. We were there for five hours, max—and that was five hours too many. This hotel is unsafe, unsanitary, and absolutely not worth the price. Do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else.
