Fairmont Heritage Place, Franz Klammer Lodge

We loved our condo. The view of the mountains and village below were spectacular! We will definitely be back!

The Franz Klammer Lodge concierge service was nothing like we have ever experienced! They provided and ensured we had everything we needed to make our vacation as enjoyable as possible. They assisted us prior to arriving by setting up dinner reservations and providing us information on local kids activities/camps. While we were there, they assisted us with any needs we had while in the condo, and providing us information on hiking trails, bikes, fishing gear, etc.

Fairmont Heritage Franz Klammer Lodge (FKL). Offers 2-3 bedrooms (2 luxury baths and Jacus) for the same specific weeks every year as well as floating on reservations, It is located a short walk to the free Gondola down the hill to the historically preserved storybook town of Telluride. It is also very close to the ski lift. It has no food services. But is closely surrounded by a variety of breakfast places and high-end restaurants for dining and lunch. Downtown Telluride does not allow any large box retailers of fast food restaurants. No big Mac, Target, or Walmart. Very romantic. Spring skiing is heavenly our fixed dates are weeks 10 and 11. We also return the week of Labor Day.

Loved the view from the Lobby. Great coffee, tea, apples and oranges in the lobby every day. Very friendly staff. Just walk out the plaza door and within 60 yards is the lift to take you up the mountain. Or the gondola (free!) to take you into the town of Telluride. Great pools and hottubs, as well as a steam room and sauna. Really enjoyed our stay!

Once again, the staff at the Franz Klammer, the top notch accommodations, and gorgeous Telluride did not disappoint! I highly recommend the spacious and well appointed condos with a wonderful ski valet making your trip from room to slopes seamless!

Staying at the Fairmont Franz Klammer is a twice a year minimum event for us. The staff is friendly and awesome. So many long term employees they feel like family. We all share the common love of the mountains. Everyone from check in, concierge, housekeeping, member services to ski valet goes the extra mile. Location of the Lodge in Mountain Village is prime. You can walk or gondola anywhere needed.

We love staying at the Franz Klammer Lodge whether it's in the winter, spring, summer or fall. The employees are amazing and take great care of their guests. They go out of their way to accommodate and provide the best customer service. The location of the FKL is awesome for skiing access and to the town of Telluride via the Gondola.

Room was very nice. Communications, happy hour were great but no a/c was a little painful. Car ride was awesome!

A wonderful facility. The staff were friendly and accommodating and the rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The property is on the mountain so it is easy to access the gondola to go into town for restaurants and shops there.

Terrible beds and linens. One king bed was actually two twins put together which was very uncomfortable. No fitted sheets which meant you slept on the bare mattress most of the time. Asked for Mountain View and got a very limited view. No bar or restaurant in resort. Transportation to and from the airport was the best part, both drivers were very helpful and kind.
