Much more beautiful and romantic and accomplished than the images on Nakaramba website portray. Food gorgeous ,location perfect and peaceful right on the beach. This beautiful facility deserves a properly presented YouTube video and enhanced images to do it the justice it deserves.

Beds very hard, drainage smell around pool

Food poisoning for both of us. Take "flying rabbit" with you! We had 5 nights there and spent 4 days recovering from separate bouts - only ate at the resort. Staff were lovely, just didn't have a "holiday". Good location, peaceful and near to other resorts for meal options.

This resort is located on a lovely beach. The food was excellent. The yoga classes were also great. The fitness room is terrible and needs a renovation. There are many stairs on the property, so good mobility is important.

Our family highly enjoyed ourselves at this gorgeous, clean, hospitality-focused, resort. You can tell they have a lot of pride in the resort and they aim to please their guests. The outdoor pool is enormous and beautiful, and the beach front is picturesque.

Where do I start??? I came here with my husband for my honeymoon and i absolutely enjoyed every minute staying here!! From the moment i entered this resort till the day I check out the ambience, the service, the location, the vibes and everything else was just perfect. I really need to congratulate all the staffs here as they are by far the most humble staffs that I have come across.. The way they always greet the guest, they way they attend you and the way they follow the instructions is amazing.. They have decorated my room beautifully, the room was big and spacious for 2 pax, they didn't fail to do room service everyday and the best part is they do it within a short time before we come back from our buffet breakfast.. I stayed here for 5 days and each day they had different menu for the breakfast and I have also tried their lunch and dinner menu which was just fine but a little pricy. The spa was also relaxing and the pool was big, also there is a beach at the pool front so if you are planning for a very relaxed vacation in Krabi then this is the spot for you...

We chose this property to beat the crowds and enjoy small and cozy feel of villa style living. We We booked two rooms for our family and then we upgraded by paying a bit extra to a Andaman pool villa. I have stayed in big resorts but this gives you a small cozy and yet personal feel. The room interiors are great and bathrooms have wooden furniture that makes you feel so close to the nature and Thai culture. It is very opposite to the big hotels but I was looking for this experience. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The daily breakfast was more than ordinary. Every day they had different Thai varieties and other international cuisine of foods. Some family said that the staff packed breakfast for them As they had excursions. I got sick and they sent meds right away. We had our flight at 6 pm and they provided us day use room after check out so we could take shower and my kid could rest. The hotel is away from crazy crowds and is a small and yet veery personal and comforting to be. I’d love to come back again.

We came in for dinner and got some of the best service, food, and atmosphere in our entire trip to Thailand. The views from the restaurant are incredible. We took advantage of their happy hour and came in around 5:30 pm. The caipirinha and the pink lady were fenomenal. The food was very good, with the shrimp green curry being the star of the show. Make a reservation to get an upfront table.

We’ve been coming here for a staggering 20 years now and it’s still a fantastic place to base yourself when visiting Thailand. Set in a quiet bay there are 40 rooms scattered throughout the verdant grounds. Each room has a bedroom area which leads through to a double sink and dressing area then through to a separate toilet, shower and bath tub. There’s also an outside sala or sitting area. There are a couple of pool villas with their own swimming pools but otherwise there is a massive swimming pool with a spa seemingly built into the hill side behind it. In front of the swimming pool is the sea. The restaurant area forms several levels to one end of the pool and along the sea front. For me the great appeal is the way the resort blends into the Krabi nature. It doesn’t feel false or out of place like most hotels do, its like having a second home in Thailand. The staff are all Thai including senior management and their sole focus is looking after you as a family. They are happy and that flows through to the guests. Many of them live together in nearby staff accommodation when not at their family homes. The view from the resort is stunning and changes with the tide. At low tide there is a huge sand area to walk across broken up by the occasional long tail boat seemingly beached, waiting for the next high tide. Opposite is an uninhabited island and one tree. Anyone who’s stayed here will know one tree. Just around the corner on the beach is a more traditional swimming beach otherwise when the tide is in you have a huge safe area to paddle or float in. Breakfast for us is taken by the beach but some people choose to take it up on the covered terraced area. In the evening we regularly eat at the resort and indeed people come from outside to eat here as well, particularly for special occasions such as marriage proposals or romantic occasions. It’s a truly special setting. The resort spa offers a number of treatments and like everything else here prices are very fair, particularly for a small luxury boutique resort. A one hour Balinese massage was THB 1,400 and there were often promotions running which offered a 20% discount. Treatments are provided in purpose built air conditioned rooms, not on a mattress on the beach. By way of comparison the same treatment at the nearby Banyan Tree resort is just under THB 5,000. The reception team can book any trips or restaurant bookings you were thinking of doing during your stay and are always happy to advise on local markets and so on. Longtail boats can be hired for the day directly from the beach. A popular trip is to combine Hong Island, Laolading Island and Pakbia Island at a cost of around THB 3,000 for your own private boat and 4 people. For me the Nakamanda balances comfort, tranquility, nature and affordability perfectly and there are constant tweaks and improvements every time we stay here.

Truely a luxurious experience. Every detail was taken care of from the basket of fruit at arrival to umbrellas and beach bags for use in the room. Spacious bathroom with a luxury tub . A personal porch for lounging amongst the tropical vegetation. The pool area was wonderful and the dining room was next to the beach. We had a private beach that was perfect for enjoying sunsets. Pictures do not do it justice. Only drawback it that there are lots of stairs.
