Drury Plaza Hotel San Antonio Riverwalk

Perks were awesome. Cathedral show from Terrace Amazing. The staff goes above & beyond. Girls trip, felt very safe, security presence, again above & beyond. Building history & architecture beyond words. Property & room very clean & comfortable bed. Employees happy and accommodating.

Honestly i cannot think of a single thing i did not like about this hotel. The parking is pricy, but secure and valet had car waiting with in/ out services. The room phone did not work, but called number on front of it and within 5 minutes delivered extra blanket as requested.

I guess if I had to come up with something I didn't like it would be the two separate elevator trips in the bridge, but honestly it was negligible in comparison to facilities, service and room. Just wonderful. This has become my go-to. Usually at high-end places like this they charge you for breakfast and that's just another little perk that it's free

Our stay at the Drury Plaza Hotel on the River Walk in San Antonio was absolutely wonderful from beginning to end. We arrived early, and since our room was already ready, we were able to check in immediately — such a great start to our trip. One small touch that stood out was the ice water in the lobby. After being out in the Texas sun, it was so refreshing and appreciated every single time we came back in. The hotel was spotless, the staff was incredibly kind and accommodating, and the location could not have been more perfect. Our balcony overlooked the beautiful church, and each evening we were able to enjoy the light and sound show from our balcony. The interiors throughout the hotel were stunning as well. Every moment of our stay felt special. The Drury truly understands what excellent customer service should look like, and we genuinely felt valued as guests. While we did not attend the evening bites, the breakfast was fantastic with a huge variety of delicious options. We truly cannot say enough good things about this hotel. If we are ever back in San Antonio, this will absolutely be where we stay again.

Location and view from the 14th floor of the city, riverwalk and church. Easy access to the Riverwalk. You can walk to most everything.

Our suite took 2 different elevators with a walk through the halls to get to the second one. Very inconvenient. $43 per day for parking. Food was not too good. Breakfast was ok but the food served at happy hour was not. Wait in line to get your 3 free drinks. Food at the bar was good.

There was a win with the San Antonio spurs. They celebrated outside our hotel with racing their car motors. We couldn’t sleep but found out the next morning that it was the tradition after each win. Some rooms were notified about this prior to it happening. But we weren’t. Would have been fun to go watch!!

"walk in" for one night - excellent rate - not sure but includes buffet breakfast and buffet dinner and free drinks. great value. central location.
