Drury Plaza Hotel San Antonio Riverwalk

I honestly can't say I liked anything because I loved everything. This reservation came with so much more that I didn't even realize. Free breakfast of course. Most hotels do that right? Well this also came with free dinner and evening snacks. It is directly on the Riverwalk. Absolutely beautiful views. Two pools. One indoor one outdoor hotel room was humongous. Two queen size beds plus pull-out couch that honestly could have fit three of my kids not just two. And to be honest I thought it was bigger than the queen beds. Staff was excellent and room service daily. I did forget about parking but they offer valet services for $43 a day so we took advantage of the valet who were very polite and very quick in retrieving our vehicle whenever we needed it. Hotel felt very secure having to use your room key to access not only the hotel but the elevator on the bottom floor, which means that there was only guests and staff throughout the entire hotel. If I could rate this a 100 I would. We would definitely be back to stay at the Drury hotel. Oh and also the hotel was absolutely beautiful. It was stunning and the history of the hotel. Make sure you asked the staff about it. It was really interesting. And for all the tourists this hotel is smack dab in the middle of everything you want to see and experience. The alamo, river walk, local restaurants, pubs, bars, and so much more are all within walking distance. And for those that want to experience the other sites such as Schlitterbahn, the San Antonio zoo, the caverns, the wildlife, drive-thru Park, and more. It is all within driving distance less than 30 minutes away. This hotel is a vacationer's dream.

The location is great. The staff is very helpful and very friendly

It could be much cleaner. Our freezer in the fridge drips water. The bathroom sink was not clean and had someone's hair from shaving. The dresser drawers were unusable due several to short black curly hairs in top drawer. The next drawer long brown hair. Several things in room including the ceiling fan looked to be growing furr do to the dust. The doors in the room have not been wiped down in a long time as they are turning grey instead of the burgundy they are painted. Two wash cloths and two towels for two women two nights is not enough as we like a wash cloth for our face and one for our body. We were told more towels would be brought but never received. But the staff and location are great

Staff were always pleasant. Buffet always had plenty of good food.

There was a stain in my room on the carpet surrounding the kitchen closet. The couch had a nasty smell.

The location was excellent. Decent breakfast and a "Happy Hour" with free drinks that we did not expect...

The waiting time on the elevators (especially on rush time), no variety on breakfast, quite expensive valet parking (as the only option available).
