Reception (cris) was very informative and pleasant. Michael (valet) was great with knowledge of town. The breakfast was great .. . thank you for the memories of a great stay...

Maintenance needs to address the shower, needs to be enclosed so water doesn't get everywhere.

I loved that everything was walking distance for activities

SOOOOO MANY PEOPLE and valet takes half an hr or more to retrieve your vehicle BUT at least having so many people its fluent not overcrowded or overwhelming

"The Drury Hotel SA Riverwalk - Best Place to Stay in San Antonio!"

This hotel is hands down the best place that I've stayed in San Antonio. First of all, it's location couldn't be better - right on the riverwalk, and walking distance to some fabulous restaraunts. Second, the hotel is extremely nice! It is an old, large facility with large, very nice rooms. The beds are extremely comfortable for me, and the rooms are also very nice, extravagant for the price you pay for them. We stayed in a King Suite room where the bedroom was separate from the bathroom and living room. Very nice. Third, the staff running the hotel are all very welcoming, warm & friendly and helpful! I did not encounter a single unpleasant employee there, and that's refreshing and important to me. Last comment, but not least, is about the breakfast buffet they serve in the morning. It is outstanding!!! So delicious and sooo many food choices! It is very popular amongst guests, but don't worry because they keep rolling out the food & never run out! In summary, I find this hotel to be a real treat when staying in San Antonio. I think it is the best place offered in San Antonio, for not only its amenities, staff and services offered, but for the excellence that you receive for the reasonably priced rates! I highly recommend!

Very historic hotel. Spend some time checking out the "basement" on your shortcut to the Riverwalk. Lots of interesting history there. Very "30s" feel to the room. Bathroom was very modern, but sitting/TV area and bedroom had dark wood and subdued lighting. Felt like we'd slipped back in time. Quite a different mood than the Holiday Inn Express.
