Wilbraham Mansion

Nice old house. In practice, the room was very cramped and had an awkward bathroom vanity in the middle of the bedroom that made bathing inefficient. The renovations were poorly done: fixtures hanging off the wall, loose plumbing, moldings detaching from the walls. Expected more for the money.

Amazing

Lovely accommodation! I loved the Victorian ambience mixed with modern comfort/convenience, and the location was great for everything except walking to the beach with a load of equipment (and even that was still doable). My favorite feature was the 24/7 heated indoor pool -- nothing like a quiet midnight swim! My only gripe was that the staff were only rarely sighted; the place often felt empty. I don't do mornings, so I can't comment on the breakfast experience, but tea time was largely a self-serve hands-off event. I was traveling alone, so this left me feeling a little isolated. There was also no 'do not disturb sign' so housekeeping woke me up most days, but not early (noonish). That said, everyone I met was very courteous and kind!

This property was so beautiful. Love the Victorian charm. The bed was comfortable, the room was neat and clean, the breakfast was delicious and the pool was heavenly. It is near the heart of the hustle and bustle but still remains quaint and quiet. Having cold complimentary water was also very thoughtful.

There is nothing to not like at this property.

Excellent Hospitality

The buildings were beautiful, the beds were so comfy, the jacuzzi tub in the room was unbelievable and delicious breakfast was the cherry on top!! Thank you to Chris who made the whole trip with his kind demeanor and history about the mansion.

Excellent spa tub, spacious enough for 2 adults and plenty of extra room. Gluten free accommodation for breakfast, free bike rentals to ride around town.

Nothing, the whole experience was delightful.
