Basic room, but ok for price. Isolated location, a few km out of town, but busy for Anzac Day period. Much more a business / sales rep hotel than holiday hotel. Wi-fi does not work in rooms, for anyone, despite staff continuing to say it did - you have to go into main building. No a/c in lounge, no actual bar, restaurant opens at 7pm. Staff need to cheer up or find a new job.

Room booked for 3 adults/3 single beds but 3rd bed was a pull out bed which had to be placed in walkway to bathroom. Room very shabby and in desperate need of decoration. Didn't use any reception or breakfast facilities so cannot comment on these.

The hotel itself was great &the staff & food were excellent, but very disappointed with the distance from town. The hotel brochure states 500metres from the Historial de la geurre, as I new where that was I assumed the hotel was central. It turned out to be a few kilometres out of town & near the motorway.

Very satisfied. One of two ovenight stays on way to Spain so very convenient also good base for surrounding Somme history.

The location was OK but we should have preferred to be closer to the town centre. Having said that, it was very peaceful and we slept well. The food was absolutely great and excellent value for money, even if we don't spend the night there again we shall certainly use the restaurant!

we often go to france and belgium for fantastic motorcycle rides. we found the hotel very good in all aspects , the staff was helpfull and frendly the whole experiance was great food fantastic we will use these hotels all the time from Big AL.

Perfectly adequate for a stopover on the way through France. Nice setting in the countryside, first WW landmarks nearby.

Terrible restaurant. Bad everything. Last time hotel maintenance was done must have been 2001.

the restaurant has restricted opening times outside of these coffee/beer etc not available and in any case staff said to buy a coffee/beer food must also be bought. Bar shut at 10pm

Probably the worst room we have stayed in during our 5 weeks across Europe. Very small room, hardly enough room to get out of bed to toilet and shower let alone set up travel bags. Very old rooms with very new front of house restraunt. The staff were fantastic, great english, very helpfull, couldnt do enough for us. I dont normally complain but would not recommend these rooms to anyone. Take a look at the picture on hotels.com web page for this motel, you can see that the chairs hardly have the room to come out from the table to the bed. dont go, disappointed.
