The hotel accomodation was in need of repair and refurbishment. The intial room provided had at some point been broken in to and the door was not secure. We were offered another room which we accepted. In this room some basic maintenance was required to fixtures and fittings, eg. the toilet bowl was not secured effectively to the wall.

This is a basic hotel and the rooms were small (we had a large double bed and a trundle bed for our son which when in use meant no floor space at all). The shower had seen better days but overall it was OK for the price paid - significantly cheaper than any other hotels in the area. We had dinner twice and I would recommend the all you can eat appetizer buffet and the kids meals were good value. The breakfast buffet was certainly not good value. The best part of the hotel was the staff who were really friendly and helpful.

Shower holder broken. No plug for sink. new tv, but old tv holder still attatched to ceiling in the room. no enough milk with coffee/tea. no hairdryer available( this is bad considering todays standards expected) had another guest banging on dooors looking for a hairdryer! set dinner excellent, breakfast at 9euro seems very expensive. Dining room very nice. You get what you pay for re the room rate.Last Campanile we stayed at better than this one .

We had a very pleasing stay, the staff were very friendly and helpfull, the meal was excellent and the room clean and comfy. We both slept well and the breakfast was very good. We would visit a hotel in your chain again gladly. Thank you.

This hotel gave us all that we needed and more. - plenty of free parking - spacious, clean and warm room - a bath!! - delicious restaurant on site - tea and coffee in the room, tv and free wifi. The only negative to our experience was that communication was difficult as the staff spoke little english, and even then we worked around that with alot of pointing and such. Also, it is as much our fault for not having learnt more French before our trip!!

My husband, daughter and myself stayed in a room for three people.This hotel s a great base for following the poppy trail of the Somme battlefields and memorials. The hotel was comfortable, clean and the restaurant had a good choice of meals especially the buffet in the evening. Not much to do in the evening especially as the bar closed at 10pm and it was a bit far to walk to the town. We had a good time and would use these hotels again for a short stay.
