Homewood Suites by Hilton Indianapolis Northwest

Great short stay but could be good for a long stay as well close to the highway and straight shot to downtown

I liked the spacing on the suite, that's about it.

The first disappointment was that we found out the pool was out of service. That's one reason we picked this hotel. The hotel had a bad smell to it. Our room was filthy. There was brown splatters on the wall in the kitchen and living room area. The couch was dirty. She sheets were dirty and so was the mattress. In the living room when I used the stick to move the curtains it literally fell off and hit me in the head. The thermostat battery was low. Our room was freezing. It took me awhile how to figure it out. The soap and lotion in the bathroom are just old , you can tell it hasn't been cleaned or changed. I think someone did the bare minimum to clean this room. The breakfast area hot water dispenser was dirty and had black flakes coming out of it. The fridge did not close all the way, you had to push it shut. The dresser drawers literally would not stay closed. They kept coming back open.

Breakfast was good.

We were there three nights. Our room never got cleaned once.

The room was very spacious. I would stay here again.

This was a disappointing stay for my family. Not up to Marriott standards or up to our expectations. There were ceiling stains in the hall, the carpet in our suite was dirty and stained, the furniture was in need of repair, and we had to make adjustments to the toilet to keep it working. A particularly unfriendly staff member turned all the lights off in the dining area just as some customers were still trying to serve themselves. We had another stay scheduled at this location, but canceled it to avoid repeating the experience.

Continental breakfast was delicious and fresh

Really great team. Friendly, helpful. Must be really good management and training. Breakfast did the job. Options were fair and fresh waffles are a welcomed treat. Rooms are a little dated, would benefit from a walk in shower. But that is my preference. Location is good for food choices. I very pleasant stay at a great price.
