Homewood Suites by Hilton Indianapolis Northwest

Our room was in need of some serious maintenance. Lock on top of door was broken, closet door was leaning against the wall inside of the closet, shower curtain did not close, blackout curtains did not block light from parking lot, carpet was sticky in areas. Also, we had to get room keys recoded. Pool in horrible condition.

Good value for the space of the room

Room was clean. Air conditioner worked phenomenal

Carbon monoxide poisoning at hotel

Nice room layout with full kitchen with dishes, dining table, couch, desk, walk-in shower. There is a ceiling fan - nice touch if it wasn’t broken. Room A/C and hot water temp in shower adequate but not great. Would return.

If I could give this hotel less than one star, I would. We checked into 5 rooms around 10pm on July 11th. While checking in, we noticed a smell of gas which we pointed out to the front desk clerk. She brushed off our concerns. Virtually everyone in our party fell ill the night we stayed there with severe headaches and nausea. The next morning we left early and when we returned to the hotel, there was a sign on the door that the hotel was being evacuated due to a carbon monoxide leak. When we went to retrieve our belongings, all of our room doors were propped open with no security monitoring the hall. The hotel management refuses to offer any recourse.

Entire hotel was evacuated for a maintenance emergency. Not even informed of what emergency was. Precious day upon arrival the entire lobby smelled of propane gas- could’ve been related to a gas leak. Offered rooms at other hotels but did not cover costs and rooms did not match rooms that had been previously booked so we had to cancel trip entirely due to other hotels being over priced or sold out.

Room was not available when I arrived. I was not informed beforehand. They wanted to move me to the hotel down the street. Eventually they accommodated me with a room. I'm definitely unhappy with this experience. I was traveling alone with my daughter and did not want to be relocated to an unknown hotel with zero notice, especially when there were clearly rooms available.

Loved our stay… very accommodating staff and delicious breakfast buffet!!!

Our room was clean and very nice. There was no one behind the desk when we went to check in. We waited about 10 minutes for someone to come from behind the wall behind the counter. The staff was nice and breakfast was good.
