Sheraton Tarrytown Hotel

Large room, decent warm breakfast, comfortable bed.

When we went to get breakfast we were told it wasn't included. We had to go back to the front desk and show the details in the booking.com app to prove that breakfast was included. The agent said it didn't show up in their view, so that was annoying.

The breakfast was not very well organized. I The buffet vs menu was confusing. Bread was not fresh . The oatmeal we paid for was as instant and dreadful as the oatmeal at the free buffet. The waitress, however, was wonderful!

See above. The room we were moved to far nicer than the one we were initially assigned to— we felt as if for the first night they stuck in a room that they use only when they are full. Our reservation had been lost—it was finally retrieved, but clearly no room had been set aside for us. Not sure if the reservation snafu was the fault of the Sheraton or of Booking.com. But I use Booking.com regularly and this was the first messed-up reservation. The staff, however,was spectacularly on the ball and eager to sort it out and get it right.

Upon checking in we were told that breakfast was available on our club floor and in the lobby the next morning. Went to the lobby because there were more items to choose from. Sat down with our plates and were told it was $19.95 pp! We weren’t informed there was a charge for the lobby breakfast upon check-in! Also, at the front desk there was a notice stating that since they were short staffed breakfast was available in the lobby…no where did it mentioned a $19.95 charge.

It was beautiful! The staff was amazing and it was very clean!

The beds are awful! My back was KILLING me and still is a bit!
