"Basic but better value that campus rooms in Dublin"

6.0

Reasonable value. Accommodation - functional at best. Nice campus. Quiet and clean. Breakfast was included, but a bit basic. All-in-all 'adequate' and reasonable value for money.

"Elms Village Belfast"

8.0

Elms Village was perfect for my needs. Check in was hassle free and the reception staff explained where everything was. Room was more than adequate for a couple of nights stay. I would definitely stay a Queens Elm Village again. Good choice of breakfast from fruit and cereals to fully cooked options.

"Good student accommodation for single travellers"

8.0

Having stayed in student halls of residence in the 1970s I was pleasantly surprised by the accommodation offered. En suite rooms and with plenty of power sockets. There was also a common room with TV and a kitchen with fridge etc. The only drawback was the distance from the centre of Belfast - 3km. The bus service was OK, every 20 minutes during the daytime, but there was no service on a Sunday (at least not in the summer timetable).

"More like an escape room than a hotel"

8.0

The hotel is actually the student dorm, which seems to be rented while the students are on vacation, at least that's my guess. Maybe that is why it's so hard to get around - you need to prove you're smart enough to be a student? First I had to find it, which wasn't trivial, since it looks nothing like a hotel and isn't even a single building. If you do find the desk, they give you a map and a magnetic key. Your task is to find your building, open multiple doors, each of which opens in a unique way. Even finding light switches is a challenge. Now try doing all that in the dark, with luggage, after a long flight... Otherwise, it's actually nice. Comfortable room, designed as a long term living space for one person, pretty clean, and the free breakfast is versatile and nourishing (if you can find the dining room). Had to wait about ten minutes at check in, because the guy was away, but the checkout took just seconds. In short, a very good value for the money, if you don't mind to be challenged and like quest rooms.

"Great"

10.0

Wanted to stay here since it was very reasonable and had free parking. Great room (had its own private bathroom which was a nice surprise. Thought I would be sharing). It was a good size room and clean. About a mile walk to get the sin city area with shopping but there is also a bus stop right outside the gates. Would defiantly stay here again.

"Good location, cheap, bed uncomfortable "

6.0

Very impressed with the staff at check in, the cleanliness, and the privacy. The breakfast was fine although the refectory area was a bit untidy. The bedding was really uncomfortable in the room, and the motion sensor bathroom light went off too quickly when you were in there but seemed to go on a lot when I turned over in bed!
