Damson Dene Hotel

Loved the breakfast. Room was clean. Bed was comfy. Staff were friendly, especially the bar man. Enjoyed the jacuzzi and sauna. Great facilities for a 3 star hotel. Lovely grounds and very peaceful . 10 minutes from Bowness.

We were in the main bit of the hotel in a standard room. Walls are paper thin and rooms quite small so close together. You can hear alarms, talking, hair dryers etc from neighbouring rooms. People across from us seemed to have had friends in their room and were laughing and talking until late so needed to create make shift ear plugs from cotton wool. The receptionist the next day said I should have called the night manager. I would stay again but in a different room

I visited about 35 years ago so it was lovely to revisit

The massage was really good , & it's got to be the best bathroom & shower I've ever used in a hotel...

Bedrooms we're very nice & modern but the restaurant bar & reception was a little dated.
