Damson Dene Hotel

Location is good for a variety of the towns and villages around the lakes. Good size family room and dog friendly Breakfast was good quality.

Lots of noise travels from adjoining rooms and from the bar below rooms. This led to alter than planned nights and earlier than hoped mornings. Tables at breakfast each morning so sticky you could not push your cutlery to one side. Cold water failing not the hotels fault but not telling guest when it was 8am so many going in to the showers and scalding themselves (even after that risk was pointed out to reception) was poor.

Very lovely entrance staff were good. The meal was lovely. I didn’t get to see the swimming pool. The grounds were spectacular.

The cabin was really great, the jacuzzi perfect- the view was very good. The staff were all great. The swans in the pond or was it mini lake , I love them.

Coming out from the cabin the hill that leads to the main road- it’s a very risky turn and I feel mirrors or what tho use things are called that reflects on the road to see who is coming should be placed across the road. The breakfast are very limited, did not enjoy.

Friendly staff. Lovely log fire with comfy seating. Nice breakfast

Bed uncomfortable, noise from other rooms & lounge underneath are room, hear people talking, restaurant for evening meal not up to scratch, frozen undercooked chips, over priced more like pub standard food, broken jacuzzi, leisure area very old, 2 plastic chairs around the pool area nowhere to relax, wanted a massage but was not available as she was on holiday which should of been advertised when we booking are trip

Great breakfast with lot of veggie options.
