Damson Dene Hotel

Good location and ample parking. Child friendly. Reasonably priced for the location.

It seemed understaffed, there was never anyone present when needed including reception being manned. Housekeeping came too late everyday. 4pm or after is unacceptable and we had to ask for our room to be refreshed one day and turn It down due to the time of day on another.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Food was really good at the hotel.

A little tired and our room was noisy in the corridor at times, had to ask some guests to be quiet as we were trying to sleep

Bit shabby We had a fire alarm about 1:30pm It was a false alarm but not a great fire drill, very disorganised

Location was good close to windermere

The walls are so thin could literally hear the room next door turning a switch on. Lots of noise in the night, showers are like caravan showers, very old fashioned
