Location , shower was good.

No A/c. Needed to have window open. But street noise was very very loud 🥱. No plug for the sink,no usb sockets.

Shower room a bit small

My partner and I attended Ibis Hotel in Bristol Centre, to accommodate our stay for the night prior to our flight early hours the next morning. We arrived at 1400hours and were greeted with great and efficient service. The hotel offers 20% discount on parking for Millennium Square Car Park. We were there for 4 hours, which cost £6.50. We took our bags to the airport for twilight check in, and returned around 1830hrs. We left the hotel at 0230hrs and with the 20% it was £3.50- could not fault it. However, every time you re enter the car park, you need to ensure you register your car registration with the hotel, otherwise you risk missing out on the discount. The hotel room was clean, tidy and what you need for a night stay before the airport. The bed was large; I would advise using the additional pillows they supply as one pillow is quite flat. The shower was decent power and good temperature. The only fault we had was the room is not ideal in the heat. It was around 19 degrees outside and we were FRYING in the room. There is a cooling/heating unit but it is not considered to be AC. We couldn't have the window open as the noise from the nearby bars/bowling alley was not ideal for trying to sleep before an early wake up. In the room, there is a hairdryer, towels, kettle, plug with USB ports. We did not know much about the atmosphere of the hotel, due to not really using the communal areas. However, we did go to PREZZO which is a 3 minute walk away and this was delicious. Regarding nearby food/drink- there is plenty of options and a few bars with a lovely scenic outlook onto the river. Overall- ideal for a swift stay and good service at the reception.

I recently stayed at Ibis Bristol Central and was deeply shocked by the poor standard of cleanliness. Upon checking into my room, I discovered visible bloodstains on the bedsheet. While the reception staff were polite and arranged a room change after I raised the issue, finding bodily fluids on a bed is completely unacceptable for any hotel. It raises serious questions about their housekeeping protocols and hygiene standards. Although the second room was fine, this experience completely ruined my confidence in this hotel. I expected much better.
