Campanile Poitiers Sud - Aéroport

I have stayed in many Campanile hotels and this one was only average. What you would expect of a Campanile hotel but with a couple negative points like the choice on the buffets in the restaurant or missing feature in the bedroom.

En route to Spain. Modernised bathroom, comfortable bedroom. Good value for money.

Good example of the Campanile format. Rooms are simple and unfussy but beds and bathrooms have recently been upgraded and make this an excellent option for an overnight stop for weary travellers. Lovely to be offered choice of ground floor or first floor room. Bathroom in our room was very high-tech but thankfully easy to use. Restaurant offers various options; not cordon bleu but very good food and excellent value.

If you get to Auchan, you've missed it. The entrance is before the roundabout to the hypermarket, but it is not well sign-posted. It is opposite the Kyriad. The hotel was fine, but the room we were given was not ready when we arrived, so we went to Flunch and had our evening meal first. Helpful receptionist gave us extra milk when asked.

Very friendly and helpful staff, as I had my dog with me they offered me a room on ground floor onto garden area. Food always good, had my best omelette for dinner and adequate breakfast. Absolutely no problems staying at this hotel. Enjoyed the shopping nearby too.

The accommodation area was in a separate building around 50 mts. away from reception and restaurant The room was very clean and well decorated and the heating had been put on prior to our arrival which was a nice touch and very welcome A ground floor room would be essential for any person with mobility issues or perhaps very small children.(In my view). There is a ramp access from the car park to the building and the car park felt safe although not gated.

Overnight stop.This Campanile has been smartened up, so rooms are good.Restaurant fine.

Newly upgraded Campanile with excellent staff and restaurant. Relaxing and refreshing, ideal as a stop-over .

Hotel fine. Food good. Speak good English (we do speak French) Good location but as usual its on and industrial estate. This did not bother us as we were en route to Spain so arrived at 1900 and left next day at 0630. Its in a good position for that type of trip.
