MainStay Suites Extended Stay Hotel Casa Grande

On the outside, this place looks nice. But inside, it needs some work. The rooms are small, in the suites there is only one AC/heater and it is in the living room area. There is a fan in the wall, which would work good for heat, but not AC. It blows hot air from the living room into the bedroom. When we arrived, the room was extremity hat (95 outside). Had to turn the AC as low as possible and took a couple hours to cool. The bedroom never did cool. Although set for continuous fan, the AC would cycle on/off. Being that is was noisy when starting up, didn't get much sleep. Too hot to turn it off. The hallway carpets seams were held together with duct tape. Had to be careful not to trip on them. No elevator as it is only a two story building. The stairs are narrow, so tough carry baggage up and down.

The suites were clean with stove,dishwasher, refrigerator including items you need to cook. Staffing was friendly. I would recommend staying here.

Front desk gal was very friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable and didn’t have any issues during our quick stay.

Staff member while checking was rude and it took a while for them to check us in. However, the lady at the desk on check out was very friendly. The facility it self is very dirty and has a musty smell. The towels we dingy. The carpets need to be cleaned cause while we were walking around barefoot, our feet were black. Very disappointed in this hotel. We checked out a day early and stayed at the Hilton down the street. Worth the extra money. We will not be recommending Mainstay in Casa Grande to my worst enemy.

Loved my accessible room! Recovering from foot surgery it was a big help. Heidi and other staff took great care of me in my stay. Loud guests around my room. But what can you do, some people don't believe in indoor voices.

Price gouging of food sold as snacks and meals as no breakfast being served$2 for a single PopTart was redicilous.

Stay away they do not cancel a reservation if you need to check out early, forget it. Will charge up to 2 xtra days, stealing money. Try to find a stated cancellation policy on the web site, it’s not shown. Place is a dump too. In general you should avoid Casa Grande it is crummy little town with nothing to offer but expensive Hotel rates. Stay in Chandler, AZ & make the drive.

Shower suck

Don't stay here. Don't believe the "newly renovated" nonsense. From roaches to crickets to unknown insects to dark hallways...hot room, uncomfortable bed, stains, air/heat system that didn't work...the one thing I will give this MainStay is consistency - at having a terrible property. To add to the fun, the room I booked was unavailable - apparently double-booked they said - so they arranged a smaller room that sells for a lower price but didn't make any accommodation to adjust the rate for us. To sum up, this one is simply terrible. Avoid it.

Older facility,no extra pwrks wich is fine but tv didnt work, ice macine didnt work, was difficult to get the shower to work, on the plus side, bed was good ans so were the linens
