Canoa Ranch Golf Resort

I liked the location; was far enough from interstate to not hear trucks and traffic. Staff was welcoming and friendly.

Some of the bath cabinets needed replacing; the wood was very scuffed in placed. Faucet handles did not work as well as they should have.

We booked this stay thinking it would be a special family trip, and it turned into one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had. The room we were given was nothing like what was advertised. Instead of a peaceful balcony with a view, we were placed in a ground-level room facing the parking lot. It was loud, chaotic, and felt incredibly unsafe—people were walking right past our sliding door, cars pulling up feet from our room, alarms going off, and zero privacy. Traveling with a small child, this was completely unacceptable. It did not feel secure at all. When we calmly brought this up to the front desk, the employee (Mike) responded by yelling at us, refusing to help, and saying there was nothing he would do. We were shocked at how aggressive and dismissive he was, especially when we were expressing legitimate safety concerns. We called the manager and left a voicemail no response. No follow-up. Nothing. At that point, we felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome that we ended up leaving entirely and were not even offered a refund. This is not a “resort” in any sense of the word. It’s mediocre at best, misleading at worst. The amenities do not justify the price, the rooms do not match the photos, and the customer service is unbelievably hostile. I have never experienced this level of rudeness or disregard at a hotel before. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. This ruined our vacation

We loved how clean the rooms were and the size of them. We enjoyed the pool, jacuzzi and laying out in the lawn chairs. It was nice to have omelets or pancakes for breakfast. Rooms were clean and fresh smelling. Would definitely stay again.

Noisy heating or cooling unit outside the building were annoying and we could hear them in our room. Neighbor’s washing machine was very noisy in our room too. We wondered what it was and called desk and they said it was a washing machine next door.

I recently went to Canoa Ranch golf resort. The purpose of the trip was to visit with friends who lived nearby. It was a nice place to stay and the people were extremely nice. One person, in particular, a gentleman named Mike, went out of his way to help me. Upon my departure and arrival at the airport, I realized I'd left a bag in my room. I called the resort and Mike answered. I explained my delimma and he said he would go check the room and asked me to call him back. After an appropriate amount of time, I did just that. Mike answered and told me he had my bag; I inquired as to whether he could send it back to me and he said yes he could. He put the bag in the mail that day and I was extremely relieved when it arrived at my house a few days later. Thank you so much, Mike, for being so kind and helpful!

I was very disappointed with the breakfast, which is a shame because the breakfast was a deciding factor when booking a hotel in the area. The breakfast ran from 6:30AM to 9:30AM. I went to breakfast at 9:12AM on Friday, February 6, 2026 and I spoke with the woman that was serving the breakfast for a few seconds. I made a quick call to my fiancee' to see if she wanted to come to breakfast since Canoa Ranch would not let me take breakfast to her in our room. When I went back to the serving window, the woman had abandoned her post. I waited at least 2 minutes as she was wiping down tables. When she finally returned to the window, she was rude and grumpy. She gave me 2 sausages, and when I asked for another, she begrudgingly gave me the last one. It seemed like everything revolved around this woman getting out of there ASAP. Wiping down tables when she should have been serving guests, not having enough food for guests who came later. Canoa Ranch Resort needs to do themselves a favor and shitcan her, then find someone who is not aching and preparing to leave when they should be serving guests.

Gorgeous views and comfortable furniture and bed in the suite but not many kitchens accessories. Ex. No shears, carving knives cheap Kleenex and paper towel holders that fell over every time you wanted a Kleenex or towel. For the price you would think that it would have quality items.

Quiet, private, comfortable, and clean.

The TV remote had a near-dead battery, and the TV stations had major reception problems. Not sure if it was due to bad connections in the room, the overall reception service itself (like an out-of-sync dish or satellite), or the Internet connection. The picture on all stations was pixelated quality. All in all, I was there to relax, get some needed rest. Besides the lack it a TV, the facilities were great!
