What was unique was the elevator; It was hard not to notice the duct tape. Mariachi music filled the hallways at least until after I noticed the police lights out back. Yelling throughout the night inside the hotel and out. Pretty sure they were throwing hands (outside hopefully). No bueno hilton, no bueno.

It is getting renovated. Is starting to look pretty nice. Staff was all very polite.

Not really a breakfast. They did offer a bag style with a few items. A lot of things in the room were unfinished. But I think that is all to be expected with the renovations going on.

This hotel is deep in renovation, and I don't think they should be hosting guests at all at this moment. There was construction material and dust everywhere. The fridge in the room was not plugged in and not close enough to an outlet to plug in. The staff was nice enough to let us keep our things in the employee fridge. The elevator license was expired. We got in late and in the morning, around 9am, the staff started calling rooms and knocking loudly on every door looking for the owner of a vehicle that was parked improperly. This continued on our hall for over 30 minutes until I asked them to stop as my colleagues were still sleeping. The street sign is for the new hotel, it seems The Colony Inn is changing into a hotel called 'Spark' and I hope they go ahead and remove this listing until the renovation is complete.

"This place wants to be a real hotel when it grows up."

The bed was comfortable and the location was sufficient for my needs.

Fridge is the size of a rubik's cube. No microwave?? No hangers. There was absolutely NO indication on the Booking.com site that there was extensive renovation going on. Any other 3-star hotel that I've stayed at has had a decent sized fridge as well as a microwave. To say nothing of a coffee maker, but I don't use those.

"Disappointing"

Fairly nice location and the room itself was nice

Heavy construction everywhere. The lobby and halls were halfway done and there was dust EVERYWHERE.
