Excellent golf and very affordable to play. I rented clubs (no charge since it is their 20th anniversary year, and a pull cart (4 euros) and played the tour course (73 euros). Finished the round in 3 hours 35 minutes. But, I agree it is pretty hard walking, very hilly.

Couldn't fault the place really, it was very busy during the weekends, and the food in the main restaurant was to be honest nothing remarkanble, so we ate out every other evening Girona only a 20 min drive/taxi away. There was a great open air market, with food stalls & Live music next to the hotel during the weekend we stayed, which we enjoyed. The drinks there were half the price of those in the hotel which was a little odd. Room was fantastic, South facing and overlooking the pool.

Hotel's design is outstanding, lovely personal, great golf course.

The room and all facilities were all excellent. Luxury design and high-tech equipment. The room and bathroom is very big and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Everything seemed perfect. The worst thing was; we stayed with our kid and when we went to the restaurant to have dinner (which is the only option as the location is far from center), they said it was fully reserved. They told us there were not enough staff working in the restaurant so they couldn't accept us. The restaurant was fully empty at that time and we asked for 15 minutes to sit and feed the kid with a simple food like pasta but they did not accept it either. We weren't warned during checkout also, we could have made a reservation. Without any other option to have dinner around, we were hopeless at that time of the day with a hungry kid. I still cannot believe that they can't serve enough people staying at the hotel. They suggested another restaurant in another hotel nearby which we went but that was terrible.

Fantastic hotel with very friendly staff. We choose the hotel after deciding we wanted a few nights of luxury on our Spanish road trip and we certainly were not disappointed. The hotel was stunning with a really relaxing and charming ambience. We stayed in the junior suite which was perfect for two adults a four year old and an 8 month old baby. The room was modern, clean and had a separate lounge with a TV. The bathroom was perfect, with a large bath both adults and children enjoyed a good soak in. The breakfasts were out of this world, plenty to choose from in the buffet for all the family and the waiting staff were really accommodating. The pool area was perfect for our 4 year old, to splash about in and the main pool was just right for the grown ups. I played golf on one day of our stay and to help with the child care we used a child carer from the hotel who entertained our eldest in the kids club area for a few hours, the carer did a brilliant job and would highly recommend using one if you have children joining you on a stay. For the adults there is a spa, which is also perfectly set for a relaxing few hours. Or like me if you are a golfer I highly recommend using the golf practice facilities or playing either course as both are at a premium standard. I have no complaints about the hotel the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend staying here if you are looking for some luxury and a relaxing stay.

We stayed here because hotels.com was offering a great rate for a 5 star hotel and we wanted to see Girona. Although most people staying here were either golfing or playing tennis it turned out to be an amazing resort experience near a great city. Especially loved the pool

I stayed at La Camiral for a wedding and WOW! This is a fantastic property. The rooms are giant and the bathtub was as large as a pool. The major drawbacks are that you have to walk from property to property within the resort. There is no shuttle service and there are limited sidewalks. It is also far from Girona. If your plan is to stay at the resort and not go elsewhere, you are golden. I wish I had prebooked a taxi, as it was nearly double having the hotel call one. The breakfast was spectacular, but the service left a little lacking. It took nearly 10 mins to get someone’s attention for a pot of tea and then another 10 for the pot to arrive. I wasn’t super impressed by the dinner, but wasn’t unhappy either. For my purpose of a place to stay near the wedding venue, it worked. The property is new and exceptionally clean.

Hotel fabulous. Breakfast amazing. Golf courses and practice facilities superb.
