Homewood Suites by Hilton Louisville-East

I waited 3 hours for them to tell me they only had one pack and play and deliver the other, way past the bed times for the kids, I had to figure something out on the fly, they should have just let me know when i checked in, even though i called 3 weeks in advanced.

The property itself was great. Very clean, very quiet, rooms were excellent. However we experienced something terrible with an employee of the hotel. We had been swimming and the maintenance/pool man had come out to test the pool water. My 2 grandsons were swimming at the other end. He walked over to our chairs where we had Been sitting by the pool and said, I have to throw 2 cups of baking soda into the water because the PH level is a little low but it won’t hurt anyone…. (Here it comes) he continues to say “if anything it will turn those kids white”. Those kids happened to be MY GRANDSONS! , who are black! (Keep in mind, I am white). I don’t think he knew those kids were with us…. What a horrible racist remark. I did tell the front desk at checkout. I really hope they speak to this employee.

The suite was spacious and very comfortable! The beds were plush and cozy. The amenities are plentiful. My kids liked the suite store. We wish we could have stayed longer! Much of the staff was very friendly!

There was one staff member when we checked in. He did not make us feel welcome. However, the rest of the staff was very kind and absolutely wonderful.

We had a trip to Louisville to see our granddaughters dance recital and stayed at the Homewood Suites East there. I was enjoying my breakfast this morning and was greeted by one of the most delightful employees working the breakfast station. Her name is PJ and has the most friendly and welcoming smile for everyone who came for breakfast! She even walked around with a coffee pot and offered refills to any empty cup she saw! Definitely 5 star service! Thank you PJ for being you!

PJ and the entire staff at this hotel are kind and accommodating. They strive to serve their clients and show pride in their work and hotel. It is clean and updated and tucked into a quiet area.l that makes for a quiet night’s rest. The hotel is located near many dining and shopping areas, as well, if that is on your agenda. The best points of the hotel are the attentive staff and cleanliness🤩

Perfect layout for our group of three, easy check in and comfortable beds. We stay here often.

Most of the staff was over the top nice and kept in touch through our whole stay, Cameron even went out of his way to help us find a place to swim close by because the pool was down.

We loved our whole stay, except for the pool situation which was caused by inclement weather. No fault of the hotel or staff.
