Homewood Suites by Hilton Louisville-East

My stay was cozy, comfortable, and clean. Rosario, the housekeeper, and the front desk staff went out of their way to make me feel at home. The fire pit and patio area were relaxing to gather with friends. I will definitely stay there again when I return to the VILLE.

Clean, great location

We should know, we have over 600 Hilton nights and 1300 Marriott nights — and we just finished our 4th visit here. It was great every other time and it was even greater (if that’s possible) this time, under new GM Latonya. For starters, it’s spotless, everywhere you look. In fact, don’t tell… but one of the housekeepers groaned to me that she had to mob all the elevator floors every single solitary day. The whole hotels looks clean, smells clean and is clean. The fitness room is massive, with benches, free weights, machines, towels, even a scale. And you might need that scale if you are here for the fabulous Wednesday night reception (5 pm start). It will be like going out for dinner — even delicious carrot cake for desert after salad and the main course. Breakfast is equally scrumptious, with scrambled eggs, sausage, a different kind of potato each day, breads and bagels, fresh apples/bananas, overnight oatmeal and all the toppings. Laundry ($2 wash, $2 dry) is on the 2nd floor and you guessed it, clean and tidy with all 4 machines working perfectly. We had a 2-Bedroom/2-Bath Suite (bath tub in one, shower the other) with windows that open for a breeze and gorgeous views, especially from the 4th/top floor on the odd-numbered side. We recently stayed 2 nights at this property. Overall, we liked it. The room was nice......clean and comfortable. It was more modern than some Homewood properties. The shower was great. There was a good sized fitness center. The pool is outdoor and was closed. Breakfast was poor. There was no cream cheese for the bagels, some of the hot items were not replenished, and fruit was limited. Most Homewood properties do better than this one. We would go back......hopefully, they can improve breakfast.

This was our first time staying at a Homewood Suites by Hilton and I think it may be our new favorite hotel! First of all, easy and free parking, check in was a breeze and the hotel smelled clean. Not in an overwhelming "bleachey" kind of way, just an overall clean smell. Our room was spacious with a firm mattress (which we love) and a spacious shower with fantastic water pressure. The morning breakfast had the usual breakfast items and made it easy to start our day off with a healthy breakfast. Location was quiet and no issues. Really loved the hotel and will plan to stay there again next time we're in town.

Very clean and all the staff were friendly

The breakfast could have include waffles instead of potatoes (they was a little bit too salty to us).
