Motel 6-Barstow, CA - Route 66

Beds comfy centralky located

Ac is good but ac button pad lables are missing.

The room has been repainted by someone who obviously knows how to do careful work. What was disconcerting is the air conditioner was not turned on before I got there, and the room was Hot! Then the air conditioner settings were mostly rubbed off by frequent use. I went to the front desk, the husband came and showed my what to press, he was very cheerful which I appreciated.

I couldn't get the deadbolt to work. The top "flip" latch worked, so I didn't feel completely vulnerable. I did set my suitcase against the door. I had arrived tired, and slept well.

Unfortunately, our stay was very unpleasant. As soon as we entered the room, we saw two cockroaches on the bathroom floor. From midnight, there were constant loud noises — music, and a dramatic altercation between two women took place right outside our door in the middle of the night. It felt unsafe and unsettling, and it was hard to sleep. By morning, our child had multiple insect bites, which made the experience even worse.

The room was soo hot that everything was hot to touch.. the sheets had stains and hair on them. The bathroom had hair in the tub. We slept in our clothes on top of the bedding

Smoking room

No ashtray, only one towel, couldn't get hot water in the morning, terrible location, homeless outside and says new rooms but rooms are in need of help, paint and in room phone didn't work.
