Best Western Plus The Inn & Suites At The Falls

Lobby/breakfast area and location were nice but nice ends there. Room was old and smelly. Curtains ripped, stained lamp shades, coffee maker was broken. 2 sets of thin towels for a 3 night stay and room was never serviced. There is no bar/lounge as stated in the hotel description. An exterminator was in the hall by our room with a Manager who was telling the housekeeper to go home, touch nothing, put her clothes in the wash and take a shower. We later saw the exterminator in the parking lot and asked him if we should be concerned and he said he wasn’t at liberty to say because he signed a contract (Not exactly reassuring us). We spent the least amount of time possible in that room it was so dismal and depressing. The reservation was non-cancelable or we would have checked out sooner

Tub wouldn't drain and zero wash cloths for showering.

The hotel is dated and in need of a significant refurbishment. When you enter the lobby, the hotel smells a bit damp. The sheets on my bed were heavily stained. The sheets in my friend’s room were dirty and they had not changed them from the previous occupant. There was something in the hotel that I was allergic too and made me sneeze. The breakfast is very basic (toast, bagels, Kellogg cereals, etc). I expected a lot more for $1,000 per room for 2 nights. I don’t mind paying that for a nice hotel but this was a complete rip off

Room note ready for check-in due to a night before bridal party per front desk, was told that the room would be ready at 4pm not able to get in until about 5; hotel front desk told Hotel.com rep Jospeh, room was ready at 4, checked in at 5pm, Had an event at 5, didn't make it to my event until 7pm, mind you it was suppose to be ready at 3pm mins away and we were late. Room not cleaned had to go get towels from the front desk, before getting dressed. Room smelled like pee upon entering. It's sad that you stay with a hotel that is able to disrupt your plans due to their lack of planning and staffing and hotel.com doesn't even make an effort to ask the hotel for a discounted rate to compensate.The cellular reception is not good in this area, if you need directions, you need to have a pre- prepare your route and no calls coming in or going out.

Overall it was okay

The first room i was given was gross. old, horrible patched together old rug, couch sagging, kitchenette old and dingy. I asked for a new room which they did switch without any problems and it was better because the carpet was newer and clean.
