Best Western Plus The Inn & Suites At The Falls

Breakfast was fine. The location was great.

It is very pretty next to a lovely stream. The nice young lady at the front desk tried hard to rectify mistakes and checked on us to see if we were OK.

Their property definitely needs updating and cleaning. The rooms were not ready at check in.

Everything was overall very average or below. The room + property itself was dated, not maintained and the one girl I saw on staff was definitely over her job but as pleasant as could be. When you first walk in our room, you were hit with a pungent smell of cologne that soon disappeared and then all you smelled was dampness with a hint of mold. For the cost, it wasn’t the worst, but I definitely wouldn’t choose it again.

Leider hatten wir ein Zimmer über einer extrem lauten Entlüftung. Nachdem ich einen Allergieanfall bekommen habe, sind wir eine Etage höher gezogen. Aber auch da hörte man das Brummen und wie überall in den USA den lauten Kühlschrank. Erstaunt hat uns, dass aus der Wäscherei vor dem Entlüftungsrohr auf der Wiese ein Berg von Flusen lag, die auch durch die Luft flogen und ins Zimmer. Man merkt, dass das Hotel schon in die Jahre genommen ist.

Carpet in halls were dirty.

Smooth check in friendly stage only thing was the coffee machine in the room didn’t brew correctly which was unfortunate. Other than that, great stay.

The room fridge smells rotten and there was dog hair on the desk chair, which makes me think the room is not clean!

Hubby and I were planning a lovely weekend getaway while attending a relative's birthday party. We were excited to find this property and didn't mind the cost, as it seemed to have some suites, extra amenities, plus views of a river and falls. What we got for a ridiculously high price was the opposite of what we had hoped for. Our car and the handicapped spot were right beside a set of stairs. Our lodging was not even in the main building. The young man at the front desk, carried in our luggage and dropped it in front of the room door before we could inspect the facility. The "suite" (room 101), was dingy, dark, and small. Since we arrived late after a long drive, we were not really able to do much but get some rest. Our location was beside some electrical type doors and the room had a lovely view of two intersecting roads and a tree. The closet doors were broken, we had to disable a flashing, broken phone, the doors creaked, and there was a tiny weird bathroom. Hubby suggested this was reminiscent of an old dorm room. The furnishings were dated and there wasn't much in the way of amenities which one would expect in any hotel (soaps, towels (2), etc). Our room was not made up on the second night and when I inquired at the desk, I was told that they don't do that unless the sign is out. "What sign?" I asked...there wasn't one. Because the experience was so bad, we did not even seek out the pool or any other places in the hotel that we might have enjoyed. We just wanted to leave asap. Except for a friendly staff, and an ok very basic breakfast, this hotel in our opinion has no redeeming qualities and is certainly not worth the obscene cost.
