Castaway Island, Fiji

The Bure we stayed in was in a great location, not a lot of foot traffic passing. Lovely beach and great snorkeling, canoeing and stand up paddle boarding. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Our hand held shower slider was broken had to use a hair tie to fasten it. Reported to reception but still not repaired when we left.

Not a great deal

Very tired and run down. Beaches were mediocre, facilities generally in need of replacement. Staff whilst pleasant enough were poorly trained.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. It made for an amazing holiday atmosphere.

There should be a solely adult pool.

Location, staff, atmosphere and utter reef snorkeling.

No WiFi in blue, snorkel tour guide not attentive so didn’t enjoy inner reef snorkel due to strong waves

The service was attentive although a little slow, 'Fiji-Time.' The food in the buffet was great, and the place had atmosphere.

Under the island's relaxed feel was a commercial, money‑driven experience. Nothing was reasonably priced and the islands shop was extortionist. The experience is enjoyable but not luxury‑level, so the pricing is way out of step with the facilities. There are other islands that are comparable to Castaway at way less than half the price.
