Arte Hotel

Very convenient hotel, reception was more than welcoming and helpful, and rooms were clean, well attended and comfortable. While we were there for only one night, coming in late and leaving early, I would not hesitate to stay again.

Hotel is located near the attractions and about 15 minutes from the shopping street of Vitosha Boulevard. 5 mins to Serdika metro station, supermarket (same building as TZUM department store though the department is store is outdated).Very quiet during weekend since it is near the ministry buildings. Great breakfast.Room is clean and quite big in size though pillows were a little hard and not comfortable.

queen size bed was smaller than standard double and we only had a single duvet.

Extremely clean. Very friendly staff. They will go out of their way to help you. Everyone speaks English decently. Very centrally located. No issues. Very modestly priced for what you get.

Small hotel with friendly serivce and a very central location.Rooms well appointed and comfortable although on the night of this booking (also stayed on the nights of 22nd July to 26th July)did experience trouble with the air conditioning on a return to the hotel in the early hours. This was corrected by 7am but had an uncomfortable night nevertheless. Staff went out of their way to provide helpful advice on restaurants/ places for breakfast and even hiring a car for two days at much cheaper rates than internet sources.Would certainly stay again.

The location could not be more central; you're across the street from the back of the parliament building. I had emailed them to assure that we had two single beds instead of one double bed and was told to book a particular kind of room via Expedia to get two beds. When I arrived they seemed to have no knowledge of that but quickly accommodated by giving us a two-bed room. Staff very helpful and friendly, hotel attractive. Rooms simple in terms of furnishings (e.g., only simple wooden chairs, a ledge that works somewhat as a desk, a TV, and the beds) but very clean. Free wifi. Sofia was great for the day we were there but might not wear well (as service is not always great and, while a number of Bulgarians were quite friendly and helpful, it just doesn't feel overall like a very welcoming place). But we were sorry to leave this hotel.

I stay here every time I'm in Sofia. Staff is always friendly, the rooms are extremely inexpensive considering the location. Rooms are comfy, but sorta' small.
