We had a very pleasant stay overall. The location was excellent — only a 3–4 minute walk to the sandy beach and kayak/paddle rental, and around 6–7 minutes on foot to the harbor and restaurants in town. Very convenient and easy to get around. Breakfast was good with plenty of variety, an the hotel itself was peaceful and relaxing. We stayed in building 2 with a sea view. It was not a full sea view, but still very beautiful and enjoyable. The housekeeping staff were especially kind, polite, and helpful during our stay. We didn’t use the pool as it felt a bit small for our preference, although we did see other guests enjoying it.

The only downside for us was the deposit policy. The hotel charges €50 per day as a security deposit, which meant €200 upfront for a four-night stay. We were a bit surprised by this, as we had not noticed this clearly beforehand. Also, the reception experience could have been a bit warmer and more welcoming.

Very friendly staff

Whoever approved the decor in these rooms needs to seriously rethink things. The scribble "art" around the TV's is absolutely horrendous. It makes watching television, or even spending time in the room feel chaotic and unsettling. That, along with the comic book tiles and dark primary colors, leaves you wondering if you've inadvertently checked in to a preschool, or are staying in a toddler's bedroom. Inexplicably, the throw pillows, bed runner, and drapes are a miserable shade of olive/beige that is just sad and dirty looking. The "breakfast included" buffet from 7 to 10:30 featured eggs (fried and really runny scrambled) that were already completely cold when I arrived at 7:08, as were the sausages, bacon, pancakes & French toast. The pancakes were also hard and dry. Bread and fruit were ok. Ironically, this hotel has the nerve to post signs saying "take what you want, but eat what you take", while serving food that was edible, but poorly prepared/maintained to the point of being unpleasant.
