Victoria Angkor Resort & Spa

Walking into this French Colonial style hotel is like stepping back in time and a refreshing change from the more sterile modern hotels We enjoyed the artwork and other decorations in the lobby and common areas that provided some of the history of Cambodia. We loved the salt water pool and the restaurant and lounge areas that overlooked the pool. The rooms are spacious with everything you need. The bathrooms could do with a little updating but other than that we had no complaints. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. This was the nicest hotel we stayed at in Vietnam and Cambodia and also one of the cheapest so definitely recommend.

This ranks among the top 1 or two great hotel stays (spanning three continents). Victorian-era charm in its construction, modern in its amenities. The staff were genuinely gracious, they anticipated our wishes perfectly. Breakfasts were outstanding (Asian and Western) with free-flow Champagne. The French restaurant for dinner (one night of three) was best we've had in years. During our visits to the temples, we rode past numerous other Angkor hotels. Many looked like "cookie-cutter boxes" with Khamer facades. They may actually be lovely, but the Victoria Angkor is a legitimate, old-school venue with character that has stood the test of time. Allowed early checkin to suite. Fruit flowers and champagne in room. Staff friendly, helpful and full of Cambodian charm.

We stayed 3 nights during a busy period due to the famous half marathon. I tried booking other well known hotels beforehand but they were booked out 6 months in advance. We were pleasantly impressed and loved everything about our stay at Victoria Angkor Wat. The food is of high quality with good options for kids. The pool and gym both very good. The kids club has cute goats and rabbits! The best part was the staff who tried so hard to make our stay amazing and they succeeded. Warm smiles and friendly service.

Beautiful and charming hotel with extremely accommodating, gracious and friendly staff!! Good amenities and the staff can arrange all forms of Angkor temple complex visits based on your personal needs and interests. Phaerun was wonderful at dinner each night and try Shrina or Hanla for a massage.

This hotel is incredible. Everything was perfect! Every staff member you encounter was warm, welcoming and friendly- nothing was too much trouble. I'd like to particularly mention Mom- our driver. He was always keen to help out and very thoughtful- he even bought my wife a scarf as a souvenir out of his own pocket! This is just one example of the exemplary service we received throughout our stay. We will stay again, and I can't recommend this hotel enough. Thanks everyone for the fantastic stay.

The hotel was beautiful, had an Old Colonial elegance to it. Our room was very clean and had all the amenities you would expect. Very relaxing after a hectic day of sightseeing amazing Temples. The staff couldn't have been more gracious and helpful and made us feel very welcome. We would definitely recommend it.

Excellent modern hotel in colonial style located downtown Siem Reap. Only a few minutes by tuk tuk to all shopping and restaurants. Wonderful staff made us feel instantly at home. Highly recommended.
