Wall paper peeling of the wall , the room was freezing , was told that fireplaces in the rooms were all switched to electric. Not luxury as it was listed

Beautiful rooms, great restaurant

The hotel was empty, however our room was on the top floor and was very small…. a large adult would have difficulty using the toilet. Not sure if that was because our room was paid with a booking service. Having had a positive experience in the past we were very disappointed.

We had the entire place to ourselves. They said this is common for this time of year and during the week. So quiet. Quant. We love history and this area has so much. Staff was awesome and so accommodating. We will be returning.

This bed and breakfast was so beautiful but sadly we had to leave early due to unforeseen circumstances. The staff was very understanding and credited us back for one night. The area was so quiet and the house is just gorgeous.

Beautiful property! Very Clean. We were upgraded to a better beautiful suite. Staff was kind and very helpful.

The Inn is charming. We stayed in the smoke house, which is below the Inn. It was spacious. However, the furniture seems hobbled together from stuff off of craig's list. It's below the Inn Keepers room and you can smell what they cooked - shrimp the first night - and every cigarette they smoke and they smoke a bunch. Also, there is no blow dryer and no employees to get you one after hours - nor return phone calls.

Underwhelmed. Did not get room reserved, and when politely questioned, no explanation or apology was offered, just a curt, "no that's not the room you are getting". Ok, proceeded to room, with no further welcoming and/or friendly discussion about the Inn, etc. Told key was hanging by the room, and that was about it. Cold and not very friendly, as mentioned by other reviewers. Unusual for an "Inn" of this supposed caliber. Room, (did I mention not the one reserved) was as expected otherwise. Bedding good, room clean. Breakfast was standard institutional fare, with powdered "scrambled" eggs and sausage/bacon etc. Frozen waffles, heated on a steam table, with some compote spread on it. Exact same as you would get at a Hampton Inn, so don't expect much more. There are far better options than the Cameron Estate Inn, and sadly; I would suggest looking elsewhere if you want a true "high caliber Inn" experience. Not coming back.
