Amelia Hotel at the Beach

I was given a room I felt is often given to minorities. The bathroom, especially the shower current smelled like urine. I was disappointed it was my birthday and I didn’t even want to shower. I requested to be moved, but they claimed that was only room that they had which is a lie but you know what everything else was fine. The area is wonderful. The restaurants near is good. i loved how close it was to the beach.

The location was great, right across the street from the beach.

The rooms are in serious need of being upgraded. The bathroom is horrible, rust is all in the tub and water leaked out of the tub while showering because it needs to be caulked. Lamps in the bedroom were rusted and the key card didn’t work half the time. This hotel is way over priced for what you get. You are paying for the location.
