The Glen Mhor Hotel and Uile-bheist Brewery & Distillery

We were in a large family room set-up in the attic. The rooms were nice size but the layout was very strange. It was comfortable enough though.

Staff were very good and helpful in all areas, reception, bar and restaurant. However the room smells badly of damp. It is a top floor room and I suspect a roof issue or leaking shower. Also, most definitely didn’t appreciate the stealth change of £12 to park my car for the night!

Room was dirty, shower was moldy, room was extremely small, room was hot and being an eldery couple the stairs were difficult to maneuver with luggage. Do not recommend to elderly. Music was loud from the distillery.

We loved the hotel and the dining area and pub. After a long drive we were just very underwhelmed with our room. Really small and a double bed not a queen. The bed was really uncomfortable and there was no fan or air con in the room.

A great place, did not get to do the distillery tour but the bar had an amazing selection of Whiskey and was able to do my own tasting. The staff was amazing l, the restaurant was spot on

Convenient location, easy walking along river path, helpful staff

Total rip off for the price we paid. We got a room in the loft with no elevator, had to climb 2 sets of stairs. The ceiling was so low and the people were not friendly. Very disappointed.

We found out we had not been rented a room in the real hotel, but rather a room above the restaurant. Would be better to disclose that. The room was fine, but not the cool experience we were hoping for when we reserved it. Food was good, room was clean, staff was great. It was just not what we expected from the listing we reserved from. Ask them if it is in the hotel or above the restaurant and you'll be fine reserving here.

Nice hotel. The room was large and comfortable. I felt however, that it was somewhat overpriced. Breakfast was help help-yourself buffet style and not that good. Parking fee was extra. I've stayed previously, and was just a bit disappointed this time around.
