The Glen Mhor Hotel and Uile-bheist Brewery & Distillery

The hotel location is excellent - it is along the river and just far enough from the main area to be quiet in the evenings. It was about equal distance from the river restaurants and the Ness Islands which made for very nice walks. We got upgraded to the two room suite which was fantastic and the staff was very helpful. The rooms are a bit dated with no mini-fridge which was only an issue given the height of tourist season pricing. Breakfast; however, was terrible - we ended up doing breakfast elsewhere after the first day despite it being included in our room price.

Lovely room and in a great part of town!

We enjoyed our stay at the Glen Mhor Hotel. It was very roomy and had a king bed. The bathtub was very high off the ground so climbing in and out for a shower was a little awkward. It was very convenient to walking all over town. Also we had a beautiful view of River Ness which had a lovely walkway on either side with easy access to bridges across the river. The WIFI was not very good however.

There is no sound proofing at all. Guy next doir on phone all night may as well have been in my room

I had a single “bothy” room in the annexe, which was a building of two (presumably) identical rooms, free-standing beside the car park. It was spotlessly clean, compact but completely adequate with small kitchen area and en-suite. For £89 for a night I had low expectations but it was just brilliant. I’d definitely book again. Unbelievable value!

Even arriving as late as we did, I know we will be back to Inverness, and this hotel as well. The receptionist was very nice, the place had plenty of parking behind the location, all indications we should have gotten there quicker to enjoy the location.

This property is in a beautiful location however came with some issues. The room we got was large and in a historic building however the doors were extremely heavy and the layout was very strange. The showers took a long time to heat up and then would cut out randomly. The internet never worked while we were there. The waterside resteraunt, which is the hotel resteraunt was one of the worst server experiences I have ever had, the food was mediocre and expensive. On the good side of things we had a great experience with the service at the brewery.

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It was a lovely property with an incredible view of the river. It was very close to the shopping/restaurants in town.

We were there just overnight, but would love to go back. Best meal we had on our trip so far!

Located on the beautiful River Ness. Lovely accommodations. Distillery & bar room on premises. Walking distance to several restaurants, pubs & shops. I was a little concerned when I realized there was no a/c, but as it turns out, opening the window was enough to cool the room.
