The Glen Mhor Hotel and Uile-bheist Brewery & Distillery

The hotel is beautiful and very “Scottish “ but there is one major flaw that would prevent us from ever booking there again……there is NO elevator in this hotel. We were placed on the third floor, and only stairs available for this hotel. We had to carry 50lb suitcases up three flights of stairs. I paid $300 USD per night to drag suit cases up and down three flights of stairs. We were informed they had a concierge person available to help with luggage. But there were four of us with a total of six pieces of heavy luggage and ONE of the concierge people. If you’re in need of a hotel and you don’t have luggage, I would recommend it. Otherwise, we wouldn’t stay here again.

It is located close to shopping and many restaurants ! Sits on the side of the River Ness…..beautiful location ! Very clean and staff were friendly… will definately stay there again!

Quiet location along the River front, very relaxing

Property was in an excellent location. We only had breakfast. Slight criticism was lack of fresh fruit at breakfast - only water melon. Staff very helpful. Room looked over the river which was lovely.

Amazing

Our stay was good except for the fact that our entire 2 night stay was without any WiFi in the room. This itself made me give an average rating for the hotel.

The room was lovely, breakfast was good, staff was friendly. Wish we had stayed more than one night!

The room was nice. Bathroom great. Noise level was terrible. A family with a child were above us and we heard stomping, yelling, and running all night and during the day. Noise also included the child trying to open our door multiple times. Rooms have no sound dampening. Luckily, we didnt spend a lot of time in the room during the day. The staff was great. The breakfast was tasty. The brewery staff was wonderful. Good location. Be ready to walk a lot. But, that's true about anywhere in Inverness.

The location along the river and the overall ambience of the property and surroundings was really lovely. The food was good too.

Pros: the room was spacious and the view amazing. The bed was comfortable. Cons: the pipes for the toilet loudly bang for several seconds after each flush and they shake the bed so everytime my husband went pee I woke up. Lots of mold in the bathroom. Floors don’t look clean and I don’t think have been vacuumed in a while. Throw pillow on the bed was crusty. Cleaning staff took my jacket off a stool, threw it on the ground so they could tuck in the stool. I would rather have the stool out than my coat on the nasty floor.
